Ayushmann Khuranna absolutely adores being in front of the camera, but what he adores even more is being in a recording studio and using his voice to create various tunes. When discussing his love for music, the actor, known for lending his vocals to numerous singles and songs in his movies, reveals, “You’ll be surprised to know that I listen to more music than I watch films. I can survive without watching movies, but I can’t survive without music.”
The actor, who gained immense popularity for his songs such as “Saadi Galli Aaja,” “Mitti Di Khushboo,” “Naina Da Kasoor,” and “Nazm Nazm,” adds, “I feel a stronger connection towards music than films. Since I shoot about three movies in a year, there are times when I don’t feel like watching films. I enjoy exploring various genres of music, as it serves as an escape from movie sets and work. During the filming of each movie, I have a specific playlist that I listen to at that time. Just like my films, I also select different songs. I am more inclined towards indie music rather than commercial songs – that’s my musical preference.”
